When I first began my art experience in honors art, I thought it would be quite simple. As time passed by, I quickly realized the opposite. This course has challenged me in every aspect. From the projects, to the sketch book assignments, and the blog posts. I still remember the first drawing we all made as a class. It was a portal to open our imaginations, and share our creativity with our classmates. This entire quarter we have focused on the elements of arts and the principles of design. We were asked to apply these elements in a handmade book. It was a great experience, and I’m glad of how my book turned out to be. My sketch book is basically my life. I have poured out my emotions onto it, and seen it grow day by day. Then I have this internet portal to share my art online. It allows my classmates and my teacher to see my art choices and gain knowledge of what I am posting. Overall, my art experience has been among the best. I can honestly say that honors art is my favorite class of the day. It is the only class that allows me to express myself through drawing and be myself with my teacher. Art is no longer just scribbles or stick figures, it’s a subject full of wonder.

I will miss your wise, thoughtful ways. You are a very sensitive, artistic, talented boy. Do not forget this when you leave GWCP. We will miss you very much... I know I speak for all your teachers and of course all your friends.
Good luck and keep in touch... through this blog!
