Throughout this experience  I have learned my true identity within the art world. I never really understood how many elements could create art works above the ordinary. In order to create a book as presented above, one must have pactience and love for what they are doing. I enjoyed cutting out the shapes to my book, because it felt as though my scissor skills had improved. What was very challenging though, was balancing all my elements and making the book feel complete. I would enjoy making another handmade book, and I would potentially make changes. Changes such as laying out my pieces, and visualizing where those pices would look best within the book. My handmade book tells a story of a beautiful disaster, including thunderstorms and how love can eat you up.
