When I first saw this handmade book close up, I was amazed. I somehow saw myself in this work of art. I can relate too it so much, noting the fact that the artistic style used in it very much relates to the type of art I produce. Not only does it show a 3 dimension swirl, but it also combines two contrasting colors that emphasize the complete book. At the same time, I feel as if though I lived inside this book. The small branch-like objects sticking out just complete this handmade book. The title also fits very well to the actual art piece. Reason being is because although the exterior of the book is white, the interior is brought to life with a dark black color scheme.
Deep stuff! i agree with your connections because as soon as i saw this book i was awed. the way this artist made this book was amazing, i also agree on how emphasis is shown with the black background. This piece of art is beautiful and i think anyone could relate to it, good job javy :D.
